Good afternoon my Winter Love Bugs!
Today- December 21st marks Winter Solstice, the start of Yule as the wheel of the year moves from Autumn to Winter. From the Holly King to the Oak King.
There are so many ways you can celebrate this day/season, but for now I’m doing one of my favourite things, which is creating a beautiful simmer pot to fill my home with the most beautiful fragrance.
They are so easy to make! If you want to try your own, you can use the receipt below or simple use what you are drawn to.
- One whole apple. I sliced it to reveal the pentagram.
- One whole orange.
- 3-4 slices of lemon
- 4 sprigs of Rosemary
- 3-4 Star Anais
- Small handful of cloves
- 2 large handfuls of cranberries
- 3 cinnamon sticks
Simple put together in a pot of your choice, cover with water and pop on a low simmer! Let me know if you try it and please tag me of Instagram if you do!
